UNITED IN PRAYER HOLY HOUR

Saint Catherine of Siena, Pray for us

We are asking you to consider joining us in a nation wide Holy Hour on Tuesday,

April 23, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. EST while the 15th Annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast is taking place in Washington, D.C

By joining your prayers with ours, you are helping to send a message to our Catholic leaders that people across the country are praying with them and for them.  We are praying to inspire evangelical zeal, patriotic virtue and vocations. As Saint Catherine of Siena tells us, we are praying to be who God meant us to be in order for us to set the world on fire!

We ask that you register below indicating if you are representing a parish, high school, college campus, Serra council, Knights of Columbus council, Seminary, or perhaps you will be praying on your own.  We will share the list of all who have registered in order that we can recognize those disciples who are passionate about changing the world.

How does it work?

  1. Commit to a Holy Hour during the time period of 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. EST    (6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m CST/  5:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. MST/  4:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. PST)
  2. Register just so we can all see the unity in prayer; names will be posted.
  3. Include the Prayer to Saint Catherine of Siena posted below and ask for her intercession that our prayers will inspire evangelical zeal, patriotic virtue and vocations.
  4. Take a photo of your group, organization, friends praying during the Holy Hour and tag us on Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook using #UnitedInPrayer
  5. It’s that easy!

Prayer for the Gifts of Saint Catherine of Siena

God of Wisdom you made our sister Catherine burn with divine love in contemplating the Lord’s passion and in serving your Church. With the help of her prayers may your people, united in the mystery of Christ, rejoice forever in the revelation of His glory, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen
